Al Hrabosky was the St. Louis Cardinals' number one draft pick in 1969 and joined the team in 1970.
He played eight seasons with the Cardinals from 1970 through 1977 achieving 40 wins as opposed to 20 losses and an ERA of 2.93 over that timespan. He also finished with 59 saves with the Cardinals and was the 1975 Rolaids Fireman of the Year and a Rolaids Relief Man in 1976.
