Former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher and sports commentator Al Hrabosky has been named as the keynote speaker for the 2017 Grand Slam Banquet scheduled for Tuesday, February 14, 2017. The fundraiser will be hosted by Arkansas State University to raise money for the ASU athletic program. The event will take place at the ASU Convocation Center, 217 Olympic Dr, Jonesboro, AR 72401. According to the Arkansas State Red Wolves article funds raised through the Grand Slam banquet go into the baseball program to help with stadium and locker room improvements as well as new indoor and outdoor batting cages.
